Eftekhari emphasizes that a “dissertation topic should come from your heart so you should be emotionally connected to it," but stresses how she carefully manages her writing.Mastering the writing process is relevant not just to law school, but to the legal profession.Significantly, the Writing Resource Center supports students in a holistic manner.The Center accomplishes this goal by providing two primary services: Becoming a lawyer means becoming a professional writer; however, the writing process is not just about drafting legal documents.It comprises a series of steps that include critical reading, understanding, and clear communication.I feel so fortunate to work with writers at the CEW. I have the opportunity learn about writers’ lives, cultures, interests, and disciplines, which can be so different from my own.One of my favorite aspects of working with a writer is watching them develop over time.We recommend making your reservations at least five days in advance.
