Travelling helps us to know vivid cultures, explore the unknown and to see the unseen.
Hence, one should keep on travelling and keep our brains wide open during tours so that we can learn.
Those who get a chance to travel should not miss to do so.
We learn that when people can live in such extreme conditions happily then why can’t we; when we are bestowed with so many facilities and have such cozy environment. By travelling one can gather wisdom and experience which can be shared time and again with our descendants.
I can recollect once when I was travelling to Leh, India; I found acclimatizing so difficult, it took me 2 days but on the other hand air force and army officials kept on travelling to Leh and happily working there along with their family. I keep on sharing my travelling experiences with my students they rejoice such out of the syllabus sessions which impart learning in them.
But those who travel come into contact with various types of people whose ways of life are completely different from theirs.
They see things with their own eyes and have a better understanding of the affairs of the world. And being able to make correct decisions is a valuable part of education. It is argued, however, that the presence of the great variety of books, newspaper, the radio and television today obviates the need for travel to acquire knowledge. For example, the love and respect people in other lands have for us and the natural beauty of the various parts or the world cannot be described properly in words. Besides, not all can understand everything that they read about people away from their homes. To such people, especially, travel is an important means of education.People travel not only to see things but also to meet and learn about other people in other...But the value of travel as a means of education is so great that time and money spent on travel are not a waste of effort. People travel not only to see things but also to meet and learn about other people in other lands. They are the hills, valleys, jungles, lowlands, rivers and many other things that nature has created. The lakes and waterfalls, for example, that we see are some of the most beautiful things that have been created by nature to beautify the world.Education is not only about reading books or learning few formulae, it also involves practically applying the knowledge gained from the books.Being an academician the following quote inspires me- “Travel far enough; you meet yourself” -Cloud Atlas. Moreover, travelling enhances our knowledge, it helps generate new ideas. From travelling we learn how tiny space we acquire in such a big world. We get to know what the gifts of Mother Nature are.
