Graduate assistantships within the department are highly competitive and may consist of a stipend and a tuition and fee waiver.
Students in the Non-Thesis Option are required to take a minimum of eight courses (24-hours) from the core electives listed below.
Students are to take a minimum of six courses if they are in the Thesis Option.
The program leading to the Master of Science in Civil Engineering (MS CE) is a thesis-based program designed to prepare students for research, professional-development, and further study at the doctoral level.
