The Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering (Ph D) program is an advanced research-based graduate program for students who wish to pursue a program of independent research in Civil Engineering.The passage of the qualifying examinations is reported to the Office of Graduate Studies.A four-part written qualifying examination is given over a two-day period, usually during April.
