The teachings of Moses and Jesus are also viewed and incorporated in Islam.
From the past two religions discussed, it has become evident that the traditional role of a woman is that of a wife and a mother.
She is a professional also , At home the most important person is in most of the cases is the mother.
She is the one that cares about the order , the matter and the health of all the family.
We can´t forget that women´s life is a lot more complicated than a man´s life.
A woman has to take care of her own personal life and if she is a mother , she has to take care also about her children´s life too.Traditional Roles of Women in Religion and the Challenges Imposed by Modern Society A man is incomplete without a woman, and a woman is incomplete without a man. These two species work together to keep the cycle of life going. They were confined to the four walls of kitchen and occupied in rearing children. Every school and college ii now conscious of imparting education to girls as it is absolutely essential to educate women in society. Women all over the world are being educated in almost every field that men so far dominated.Marriaged women have lots of worries and believe it or not , they carry out a more stressfull life than marriaged men.Several times in my life I have heard commentaries about the lack of importance of women. There is a great deal of balance between these roles.According to all three religious traditions, women are responsible for maintaining the home while the men work to provide financial stability to the family.I am sure my comment could be accepted by most of the people living in a similar society.Looking back at history pages of ancient times, we find that women were treated with respect in the Indian society. However, as society became orthodox, there was change in their status. The knowledge of arts, science, technology and politics is no longer the privilege of men alone.
