View the Photo Gallery Academics The program will be loosely based on Virginia Woolf’s daily schedule. After lunch students will walk (weather permitting) or visit local sites, before returning to base for quiet reading or group discussion of works in progress.
During the program students will also visit local areas of interest.
Summer students connect their passions with the wider world and see firsthand how their endeavors improve our community.
They work closely with top-notch professors, getting real-time feedback, which keeps them plugged into the latest industry trends.
Students participate in a fiction workshop and a poetry workshop led by members and guests of Sarah Lawrence’s celebrated writing faculty.
July 1 - 6, 2019 Directed by distinguished faculty members, this program allows high school students to explore writing in a non-competitive and non-judgmental environment that values the risks and adventure of the creative process.
